We currently offer our 2 bedroom luxury attached cottage for you to enjoy and the chance to relax away
from the bustle - located on the margins of the Avalon marshes near Glastonbury in Somerset. We are the closest cottage to the nationally aclaimed Westhay National Nature Reserve with a remarkable success story of recovering numbers of nearly extinct birds such as booming Bitterns, Marsh Harriers, Bearded Tits and settled overseas species like Cattle Egret, Glossy Ibis and Great White Egrets. The owners Shaun and Bernadette share a further vision to develop a place to retreat in our 2 acre garden that is quiet, scenic and away from traffic with dark skies at night and morning birdsong. You can sit by the fire pit, swing on a hammock, swim in the natural swimming pool after a sauna (coming spring 2026).
Our cottage is new and expertly designed for your comfort and safety. There is a full smoke and heat alarm and a carbon monoxide detector passed by the local authority. Parking is free and there is an outside socket for a 13A supply for overnight charging (for a fee).
